Dan has directed classical and contemporary works of theatre, as well as devised dozens of original plays and musical parodies.
Most recently, in collaboration with Farm Arts Collective, Stone Soup, an interactive show about cooking, farming, and folk tales. At the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, he created a three-week program in devised theater. Dan has worked as a public and private educator at Interlochen Arts Camp, PLAY Theater, Sitka Fine Arts Camp, SUNY Sullivan, and Kean University.
